Sleek black windows and doors frame panoramic views of Colorado rockformations.
Located in the foothills of the Garden of the Gods, this new construction home featuresbreathtaking views of the red rock formation. The builders, Comito Building & Design, created a neutral-colored masterpiece featuring a stucco and stone exterior, exposedwood siding and indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces. The builders trusted theexpertise of our Pella Mountain View team to provide window and door solutions thatmatch their home's design and craftsmanship.
Large Glass Doors Open Home to StunningMountain View
We recommended a mix of sliding, multi pocket and hinged patio doors to enhance thehome's natural views and bring in more light. Expansive multi-slide patio doors thatpocket into the wall were designed for the living room to open the home, creating aseamless transition to the outdoors. Where wall space was limited, we leveragedstacking multi-slide patio doors for a similar effect. These patio doors widen the livingspaces, creating a sense of openness for the new homeowners. The primary bedroomfeatures a triple sliding door which glides along a track, connecting the interior andexterior spaces. In the dining room we paired a sliding patio door with transomwindows for a floor-to-ceiling_glass design. This architectural feature enhances thehome's mountain views and adds additional natural light.
Our team installed brown Pella Reserve patio doors for their sophisticated woodfeatures and customizations. They complement the home's color palette and mountainviews with their dark brown exteriors, which create a stark contrast against the stuccoand stone. The interior frames arrived unfinished allowing our clients to paint them onsite, customizing them to match the wooden floors and light-colored furniture.
A Variety of Modern Windows Add Lots ofNatural Light into this Colorado Springs Home

These windows rangedfrom small, clerestory windows positioned toward the ceiling to let in natural light, tolarge picture windows which frame the gorgeous mountain landscape. Fixed windows.also known as picture windows, use expansive glass panels that are non-operable,making them the ideal energy efficient choice, They are featured throughout the homein areas such as the bedrooms, bathrooms, basement and lounge areas. Additionally,we installed casement windows, which open for ventilation and are used in the exerciserooms and bedrooms to keep the home cool and comfortable.
